A black island that sets the tone for the house.
In this Los Angeles kitchen, a black waterfall island with bold white veining stands out against white cabinetry. Seating runs along one side under brass pendant lights, and at the end the dark stone turns down to the floor.
The black-and-white theme continues beyond the kitchen. In the living area, a black slab media wall holds a linear fireplace, and in the bath, veined white stone covers the vanity and surrounds a glass shower.
With dark stone and strong veining, the layout of the island pieces decides how the veins flow over the waterfall edge. Everything was fabricated in our own shop and installed by our team. More on countertop installation in Los Angeles.
