Custom Countertop Fabrication
All GlamourStone stone fabrication is done in-house. The slab you chose is cut, edged and finished in our own shop by the same team that templates and installs your project. Nothing is sent out to a third-party fabricator.
Keeping fabrication in-house means one team is accountable from measurement to installation. Layout decisions you make at templating, such as where a seam falls or how veining runs down a waterfall, are carried through by the people who will set the stone in your home.

Our process
How your project works
No showroom visit needed. We come to you, you choose your slab where you like, and our own team fabricates and installs it.
Free in-home consultation
We come to you. In your kitchen, bath or backyard we look at the space, take preliminary measurements, talk through layout, edges, sinks and overhangs, and review material options with you. Your estimate follows from this visit, at no cost.
Slab selection
Pick your slab at MSI Surfaces or Natural Stone Resources, where we are an authorized dealer, or at any other slab yard you like. With natural stone, the slab you choose is the slab we fabricate, so we'll tell you what to check before you commit: size, thickness, finish and how the veining will fall across your layout.
Templating
Once cabinets or bases are set, we template the exact surfaces: walls, corners, appliance openings and fixture locations. Templating sets every cut, seam and overhang.
In-house fabrication
Your slab is cut, edged and finished in GlamourStone's own fabrication shop: sink and cooktop cutouts, edge profiles, mitered waterfall joints and the vein layout we agreed on.
Installation
Our team sets, levels, seams and finishes the stone in your home, prepares openings for your plumber, cleans up and walks you through care for your specific material.

These are the details that shape an accurate estimate and a clean installation.
Each material cuts differently
Porcelain slabs, quartz and natural stone each have their own fabrication requirements. We plan edge profiles and cutouts that suit the material you chose.
Vein matching
Bookmatched or continuous veining across seams and waterfalls is planned at layout and is only possible with enough slab. We'll tell you what your slab allows.
Bringing your own slab
If you bought a slab at another yard, we'll inspect it before fabrication for size, thickness and any cracks, fissures or repairs.
Edge choice and thickness
A mitered edge can make a 2 cm slab read as a thicker top. It takes extra slab and labor, so it's reflected in your estimate.
