It starts with a free in-home consultation. We look at your cabinet layout, appliances and light, then talk through materials and edge details. You choose your slab at MSI Surfaces, Natural Stone Resources or another yard, and we take it from there.

Our process
How your project works
No showroom visit needed. We come to you, you choose your slab where you like, and our own team fabricates and installs it.
Free in-home consultation
We come to you. In your kitchen, bath or backyard we look at the space, take preliminary measurements, talk through layout, edges, sinks and overhangs, and review material options with you. Your estimate follows from this visit, at no cost.
Slab selection
Pick your slab at MSI Surfaces or Natural Stone Resources, where we are an authorized dealer, or at any other slab yard you like. With natural stone, the slab you choose is the slab we fabricate, so we'll tell you what to check before you commit: size, thickness, finish and how the veining will fall across your layout.
Templating
Once cabinets or bases are set, we template the exact surfaces: walls, corners, appliance openings and fixture locations. Templating sets every cut, seam and overhang.
In-house fabrication
Your slab is cut, edged and finished in GlamourStone's own fabrication shop: sink and cooktop cutouts, edge profiles, mitered waterfall joints and the vein layout we agreed on.
Installation
Our team sets, levels, seams and finishes the stone in your home, prepares openings for your plumber, cleans up and walks you through care for your specific material.

Things to consider
These are the details that shape an accurate estimate and a clean installation.
Choose sinks and appliances first
Exact cutouts depend on the actual sink, faucet and cooktop models. Having them on site, or their spec sheets in hand, before templating avoids delays.
Islands and seams
Large islands may need more than one slab or a seam. We'll show you where a seam would fall and whether a larger slab or a different layout can avoid it.
Overhangs and seating
Seating overhangs need proper support. Brackets or hidden supports depend on overhang depth and material, and we plan them with your cabinet installer.
2 cm vs. 3 cm
Thickness changes the look of the edge, the support needed and which edge profiles work. Each product page lists the thicknesses the supplier shows.

Do my cabinets need to be installed before templating?
Yes. Templating is done on installed, level cabinets so the stone fits exactly. If cabinets aren't in yet, we can still do your consultation and estimate.
Can you install a slab I picked at another yard?
Yes. We fabricate and install slabs from MSI, NSR or other yards. Share the slab details when you request your estimate.
Do you remove my old countertops?
Removal can be included in your estimate. We'll note any concerns, such as tile backsplashes bonded to the old tops, during the consultation.
What edge profile should I choose?
It depends on the material, thickness and style. Eased and square edges suit modern kitchens; mitered edges make a slab look thicker. We'll show you options during your consultation.
