We focus on materials the supplier lists for exterior use, fabricate the tops in-house to fit your BBQ island or outdoor kitchen structure, and install them with cutouts for grills, side burners, sinks and access doors.

Our process
How your project works
No showroom visit needed. We come to you, you choose your slab where you like, and our own team fabricates and installs it.
Free in-home consultation
We come to you. In your kitchen, bath or backyard we look at the space, take preliminary measurements, talk through layout, edges, sinks and overhangs, and review material options with you. Your estimate follows from this visit, at no cost.
Slab selection
Pick your slab at MSI Surfaces or Natural Stone Resources, where we are an authorized dealer, or at any other slab yard you like. With natural stone, the slab you choose is the slab we fabricate, so we'll tell you what to check before you commit: size, thickness, finish and how the veining will fall across your layout.
Templating
Once cabinets or bases are set, we template the exact surfaces: walls, corners, appliance openings and fixture locations. Templating sets every cut, seam and overhang.
In-house fabrication
Your slab is cut, edged and finished in GlamourStone's own fabrication shop: sink and cooktop cutouts, edge profiles, mitered waterfall joints and the vein layout we agreed on.
Installation
Our team sets, levels, seams and finishes the stone in your home, prepares openings for your plumber, cleans up and walks you through care for your specific material.

Things to consider
These are the details that shape an accurate estimate and a clean installation.
Not every indoor material belongs outside
Engineered quartz is generally not recommended for outdoor use because UV exposure can affect it, and the quartz products in our catalog don't list exterior applications. We'll steer you to materials rated for outdoor use.
Sun and heat
Dark stone in full sun gets hot to the touch. Lighter colors or shade structures can help if the counter will be used for seating.
The structure underneath
The island or frame must be level, sturdy and ready for stone. We coordinate dimensions with whoever builds the structure.
Appliances first
Grill and burner cutouts follow the manufacturer's specifications, so choose appliances before templating.

Can quartz countertops go outdoors?
Engineered quartz generally isn't recommended outdoors. The quartz products we list don't include exterior use, so we'll suggest granite, porcelain or a natural stone rated for exterior use.
Do you build the BBQ island structure?
Our work is the countertop: templating, fabrication and installation. We coordinate with your builder on the structure's dimensions.
Does outdoor stone need sealing?
Many natural stones benefit from sealing outdoors. We'll give guidance for your specific material.
